Amy and College in the same sentence?

Hi everyone! I'm just letting you know that I am not just Amy Scolaro anymore. I am now Amy Scolaro: College Student! Yeppers, I enrolled in college! I am going to Stautzenberger College in Brecksville to become a Vet Tech (an RN for animals). I start on October 5th and I am going to go full time...which is not that bad considering full time is 3 days a week! SWEEET! I'm so excited and I cannot wait to go!

P.S.- Did I mention that I get a laptop included in my tuition???

Amy's New Project!

Monday and Tuesday this week, I painted my bedroom. It went from a dull, boring, beige color to...

Costa Rica Blue!!!

I love these kinda projects. If you need help painting, just call me!

Boonieville!

Ok...so I know I'm about a month late with this but Adam and I went to NC to visit his grandmother. We went to the city of Boone which is literally on the outside of a mountain. Trees are EVERYWHERE! Here are just some of the highlights:
This is a tunnel we went through that was in between west virginia to virginia.
No joke, as soon as we pulled in the driveway, Adam saw the ATV's and jumped on one. Yep, Amy learned how to drive one too. A little scary, I know.

Adam's Uncle Jimmy took us to a memorial site for the veterans of Watauga County. It's Grampa!!!!!

Look at that dimply face!!!
We had so much fun! I can't wait to go back!

28 years young...

I had a great birthday. Got lots of calls, cards, texts, emails, etc. It was great. My work even had a cake and balloons for me. Then Trent got me this cake:

Delicious! It was a really fantastic day. I missed my Musil clan, though.

Love you!

Costa Rica!!!!!

Trent and Jeanne headed to COSTA RICA for some adventure and relaxation. We had lots of fun. Here are some pictures:

Poas Volcano - view from our hotel

The top of Volcan Arenal - that's smoke coming out!

Volcan Arenal is super active. At night we saw lava coming out of it.
We couldn't get a good picture of that.

Super rainy sometimes.

We visited a coffee farm while we were there. Here is one of the stations, drying.
Doka Esate (the farm we visited) sells 65% of their coffee to Starbucks!

Baby Coffee plants. These guys are about 1 month old. It takes a few years before they produce coffee beans.
So green. Everywhere.

These little guys got super close to us!

Treetops in Manuel Antonio

Cool lizard!

Beautiful beach in Manuel Antonio!

We waded out to the rock area in Uvita.

We had a wonderful time! We can't wait to tell you all about it!! :-)
