Trent and I carved our pumpkin last Saturday. We decided to carve Obama's campaign symbol into it. We love it! Hope you enjoy it too...

Thank you Amy! I still haven't downloaded my clambake pics from my camera yet! (Cleaning up after those animals and paying off my mastercard - - -) The chickens are getting very big, no eggs yet, but maybe soon. They love staying in the shelter with the boys. I think the girls are a little too 'clicky' for them. YOu know how girls can be - - -
Trent! you busy guy! Loads of love to you both in all your efforts. and yes, we are registered to vote - 26 dyas left to make a decision that is very difficult. any guidance from the younger set?
Well, off to the farm - Lots of love to everyone!
auntie kathy
ps. benny, have you seen the alpacas in person (or should I say "in alpaca") yet?

Clambake!

We had so much fun at the clambake this year. There were so many babies!!!!
Elizabeth brought a playpen so the babies can play without getting dirty:

Natalie was having a little too much fun with them giant koosh balls...

Isaak and his dad found a turtle!

Blowing Bubbles!!!

There were alpaca's and llama's galore!

I think Mindy bit off a little more than she could chew. But you're allowed to do that at clambakes:)

And little Penny is definatley her Mama's little girl. She's not even one yet and she loves them beer bottles!

We all definatley missed Benny and Jeanne and Trent. But there will be hundreds more. Hope to see you at the next one!!
xoxo

Misc. From Chicago...

Rather than just complaining about not having pictures from the rest of you, I thought I would upload a few from Chicago.

Trent coaching soccer:

Trent's parents came to visit in mid-September! It was Mama Charles' first visit here. She was very nervous, but it was a great time!

Lake Michigan and the little light house. View from Navy Pier.

I had a garden in my side-yard. It produced ONE eggplant! It's of the "neon" eggplant variety:

The garden also produced plenty of tomatoes, here are just a few:

Eggplant on it's way to my tummy:

Love you!

what's going on you crazy bohemians?

Hey!

Any chance we could some pictures or stories of what's been going on?? Joey's party? Clambake? Sundays at Gramma's? The Marsh's new floor??? Something??

Things in Chicago are good, good. Jeanne is still working for the judge and just starting training for tutoring the ACT. Trent is back in school full time pursuing his bachelor's in music education. He's still working at Starbucks and is also working for a kids soccer program on Saturday mornings AND he's in the process of getting some voice and guitar students.

We're busy.

We miss you all and hope to hear/see what's up with the Musil clan in the rest of the US of A.

And don't forget to register to vote if you aren't registered! ;)

Love,
Jeanne and Trent
