bohemian lawyers association

I went to the Bohemian Lawyer's Association last night! How fun! One of my co-workers was the president and mentioned something about it and I was like, "I'm Bohemian!" So she sent me an invite to the meeting. The meeting was a little uneventful, but the food.... so good! Pork. Sauerkraut. Dumplings. yum. It was nice to touch base with our heritage.

42" Plasma is Back!

Just wanted to let all the concern family members out there know that my baby is recovering nicely. The TV guy finally fixed the Plasma...I turned it on last night and a tear came to my eye...I will never again take my 42" Plasma for granite

so michael and erin DID come to chicago the first weekend in april. here is my proof:

we ended up walking like 9 miles or something that day! whoa! we went to the aquarium, to navy pier, to pizza, to garrett's popcorn, along the lake front, on the train, to jeanne and trent's house, to cafe' arota, to chicago hot dogs.... so fun. i wish they were here every weekend! =)

30 years of love

Well my peeps, let me see if I can do this. Great party Elizabeth, Joe & Amy. I think they were really surprised. Good cooking Kathy, many many compliments. Potaotes were well worth the effort, trust me on that one! Bakery & cake from the Nelson's were the best, as usual. Urban, Marilyn & Rick sure know how to step up to the plate when needed. I'm thinking they need to be honorary Musils!

garden fun

Lovely, lovely butterfly account! I'll bet that was a fun project to watch. Here are my seedlings (hopefully I will post this correctly) and Max will be using some for his garden. Yes, Maxwell is having a small garden at Grandma Angie's this summer. Here goes - -

These are tomatoes. After the seeds sprout and get about 3 inches, I move them upstairs into the 'greenhouse' in the kitchen. Uncle Bob soooo loves this arrangement. (Have I mentioned lately how much I love him?!?!)

day eleven! we have a beautiful monarch...and check out down the plant, we found 7, yes seven! baby caterpillars on our plant...eating and eating and eating.... oh how we love our butterfly garden... and lizards...and grasshoppers...and praying mantises, and birds that fly into our windows... ;)

Just like MB, I want to keep up with the kids! Such technology, and to able to be a part of it! Looks like Jeanne loves this blog stuff! And Benny - you are right, that view does make me want to relocate. OK. let's see if I did this right, and then I'll try posting pictures.
Thanks Elizabeth, for thinking of this. It's a great way to keep up, but we still have to meet at Grandma's on Sundays!!!

Pretty Penny

Hi All,

I just wanted to share the exciting news...Penelope rolled over for the first time Monday night!! I layed her on her tummy in the crib at night and when I went to get her the next morning she was on her back...so I didn't actually see her roll over, but I'm pretty sure that's what happened :) Ok, so maybe it's not that exciting to everyone, but it's pretty exciting to me. I can't believe how big she's getting already... :(
